Si3n4 Outer Spherical Bearing Factory

The Si3N4 outer spherical bearing is a high - performance mechanical component. Made of silicon nitride (Si3N4), it features excellent wear resistance, high hardness and low density. Its outer spherical design allows for self - alignment, reducing installation errors. Ideal for high - speed, high - temperature and corrosive environments, ensuring smooth operation and long service life.

The Si3N4 outer spherical bearing is an advanced ceramic bearing engineered for exceptional performance under extreme conditions. Made from high-purity silicon nitride (Si₃N₄), this Si3N4 outer spherical bearing offers outstanding mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance, making it a superior alternative to traditional steel bearings. The silicon nitride structure delivers a low density (around 3.2 g/cm³), resulting in roughly 60% less weight compared with steel bearings — this weight reduction lowers centrifugal force, enabling higher speed operation and reduced energy consumption.

In terms of performance, the Si3N4 outer spherical bearing features excellent wear resistance, a low friction coefficient (~0.05–0.1), and an optimized self-lubricating behavior, which prolongs service life. Its thermal expansion coefficient is minimal (~3.2×10⁻⁶ /°C), ensuring dimensional stability under wide temperature fluctuations. The bearing also exhibits extreme environment adaptability: it can operate at elevated temperatures (long-term up to ~800 °C, short-term up to ~1200 °C) and remains stable in corrosive or vacuum conditions. Moreover, it is electrically insulating (resistivity >10¹⁴ Ω·cm) and non-magnetic, which makes the Si3N4 outer spherical bearing ideal for sensitive applications such as MRI, vacuum equipment, and precision instruments.
In practical applications, the Si3N4 outer spherical bearing shines in high-speed spindles, semiconductor equipment, aerospace mechanisms, vacuum manipulators, and chemical processing systems.  It accommodates angular misalignment thanks to its spherical outer ring design, reducing stress and extending bearing life even when mounted in less-than-perfect alignment.
